Any Denver oppos know of particularly festive streets/subdivisions, particularly in the southwest area? I knew a few good ones in Chicago but haven’t discovered any here yet and my wife is a little down this holiday season so I think it would be nice. Thanks!

9news has a “lights” map:

We’re in the northern suburbs, and there are lots of lights in our, and surrounding areas, too. Good luck and have fun!

I can’t vouch for anything here but the Denver Post has a map:

When I lived in Denver I spent a few months living in the Stapleton neighborhood over the Christmas time, there were usually some good festive houses. Someone that lived across from a think a high school? Had one of the houses all lit up and timed to Christmas music.

I don’t know if it’s still like this, but I used to like to drive around Ken Caryl Valley/Ranch over by C-470 and Ken Caryl. The houses on the west side of the highway in the foothills tended to be decorated well. Also, Castle Rock isn’t exactly southwest but there’s lots of neat houses with displays usually.

Not a denver oppo, but my gf and I were there two weeks ago. The german christmas market(Christkindl) was really fun and festive. Awesome pastries, a beergarten and lots of festive kitsch.

Oh man, I miss that! Spent a couple years living downtown when I lived there.
